Comments The notation is spatial, with 2cm equaling the metronome indication given. There are shorthand characters for pizzicato: stopped against fingerboard, against fingernail, and slide pizzicato. Lines are drawn from these points to the points in the pressure area which indicate relative loudness. These lines also appear in the case of some very short bowed sounds which otherwise might escape notice. Other points, etc. are to be ignored, being spots which occurred in the reproduction of the original. |
